Alvin R. Becker is one of the leaders of the firm's commercial litigation practice and has been representing clients engaged in business and insurance disputes for more than 40 years. He has represented insurance companies and businesses at both the trial and appellate levels in matters relating to insurance coverage, surety defense, commercial disputes, legislative issues and internal corporate concerns. He has also represented clients in administrative proceedings before the Illinois Department of Insurance.

Mr. Becker has been selected for inclusion in the Greatest Lawyers in America in the area of business litigation and he is recognized by the Leading Lawyers Network as being among the top lawyers in Illinois in commercial litigation. He has also received an AV rating under the Martindale-Hubbell® Lawyer Rating System, indicating that he “has reached the height of professional excellence” and “is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.” In addition, Mr. Becker was named as a 2005 Illinois Super Lawyer in area of business litigation in the May 2005 issue of Chicago Magazine.
